Salty Sister condo/boutique condo/hotel is a unique home design well suited to host a couple's getaway, a family vacation, or a large group gathering. Suites can conveniently be combined to meet your needs for multi-generational family reunions, wedding groups, and corporate and club events.

Most suites offer Morro Bay rock and bay views. Sit back and watch the fishing boats depart early morning and return with their daily catch. Located on Front Street, next to the Maritime Museum, Salty Sister is ideally situated. It is close to the Embarcadero, surf and recreational areas. Easy walk to shops and several dining options. Or, take a more brisk walk around Morro Bay Rock or on the beach. Paddle board, kayak in the bay or join-up with surfers at several nearby favorite surf locations.

This listing is for three suites, each with a private entrance, that open to one another creating a stunning 2,500 sf living space. This vacation rental includes:

* Slaty Sister suites, including a handicap lift to the building.

Pricing is based on 6 occupants. Each occupant over 6 has additional fee per night. Children over age 2 are considered an occupant.

Commonly Asked Questions:
1. Can I rent the full complex. Yes. The suites open to common patios and were designed to seamlessly add living and sleeping accommodations based on group size and other needs. When the full complex is rented, renter gets two 2,500+sf units with private use of the roof decks, full access to common areas and natural gas BBQ.

2. Can I rent half the complex. Yes. The right and left sides of the complex are a mirror image. Specific units must be rented to have access to the roof top deck

3. Are there "lock-off" doors between suites. Yes. Each suite has private entrance, living and sleeping rooms. Or, when doors are open the space flows between suites making a large beach house. Note, the two 2,500+ sf mirrored units are only connected via the patios and roof decks (no interior door connection).

4. Are there Morro Bay rock and bay views. Yes! Gorgeous panoramic views from four suites.

5. Is there AC in the units? Yes, there is AC and heat in each suite.

6. Are there fireplaces in the units? Yes. The two largest suites have fireplaces.

7. Where is the game/media room located? The game/media room is part of the largest suite rental. This is a separate suite with a private side door entrance. The suite is a half-basement unit, has a master bedroom, and game/media room with queen sleeper sofa, full bathroom and laundry center.

8. Are the partial basement units (game/media room) dark? The half-basement suites do not have views like the other suites; however, there are three west facing windows that provide natural light.

  Our family rented the entire left half of the house (all 3 units), and we had plenty of room to spread out for 4 adults and 3 kids. It was very clean, nicely decorated, had comfy beds in the bedrooms, and the views of Morro Rock from the living areas (and the rooftop) were beautiful. We were able to walk to several restaurants, coffee shops, and piers (to view the sea lions), and it was an easy drive to other activities North (Hearst Castle) and South (Pismo Beach) of Morro Bay. After 5 nights, we were all refreshed. Seven Sisters were super helpful from answering all my questions while booking and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again, and we would also use Seven Sisters to find a rental house elsewhere. Thank you for a fantastic vacation!

  This was a great rental for my extended family to use as a "home-base" during graduation weekend. We rented the entire side, the basement, the main and the connected suites. It gave us all our own space, but a nice big area to come together in for meals in and group conversations. It worked well for my limited mobility parents too. Parking was available, easy access to restaurants, short drive into SLO for grad events. Very worth it! Although it would have been nice to only rent it for the 3 days we needed it, I ended up leaving it empty one night because of the 4 night minimum.

  My family needed a large house//boutique hotel for a memorial service for our mother/aunt/sister. The goal was to have a space for everyone to stay and enough room to gather safely in this time of Covid. The Salty Sister (all 6 rooms) allowed our family to do all that we hoped and then some. We had cooked meals together and were close enough to the shops and restaurants on Embarcadero Street to have time to one’s self. This rental had it all from the amenities, to the space, the bedrooms/bathrooms. Clean, spacious, excellent customer service when booking and responsive after. I would highly recommend any room in this space for your needs and I would book again with The Seven Sisters company because of their customer service and commitment to the attention to their property. Easy check in and out process. Clear instruction sent a 5-7 days in advance made arrival and departure easy.

  Property was as described plus it was clean and everything appeared to be new. We want to come back to Morro Bay and stay here when we return. Best view of Morro Rock along Embarcadero (in my opinion). Easy walk to Morro Rock, restaurants, water sport rentals (kayak, SUP) and boat rides. We enjoyed the SubSea boat ride of the bay and saw sea otter moms and pups very close - even observed a pup trying to break open a clam with a rock up close. Rented a kayak and spent more time in the protected bay observing sea lions and sea otters. The sandspit blocks a lot of the ocean wave action and can make the bay quite glassy when the winds are down. Another favorite was the French bakery a couple storefronts down (La Parisienne). A lovely vacation in Morro Bay and the accommodations were exemplary.

Right on the Embarcadero, we were close to all the action and had the most spectacular view of the rock.   Our family of 8 throughly enjoyed our stay. A big plus providing full size shampoo/conditioner (not those little bottles) including hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray considering Convid. The photos represented the suites accurately and we relaxed on the upper deck watching the beautiful sunsets alongside Morro Rock. Many restaurants are within walking distance. There was something for everyone in our group to do including surfing, biking, hiking or an easy walk to the rock or across the street to watch the cute sea otters. The three suites gave us ample room and no question we would definitely return.
