Avila Beach Gem is a cozy elegant house tucked away in a quiet area in the quaint town of Avila Beach. 2 blocks from the beach, this house is perfect for families or a group of friends that would fit 8 comfortably. All within walking distance, Avila Beach Gem allows you to explore the town’s colorful beach town vibe, visit local seafood restaurants and wine tasting room, hike in nearby nature reserves, book a massage or soak at the outdoor hot springs, and kayak along the coast.

The house is surrounded by beautiful old oaks trees and cherry blossoms in the spring. There is a fully stocked kitchen, 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a private deck with BBQ, 2-car garage, pack n play, strollers and beach gear —our home ensures you won't need a car once you arrive. Everything is within walking distance! ??

The roomy floor plan, larger than 1700 sq ft, boasts mountain views, a private back deck surrounded by trees, and a charcoal BBQ grill. Granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances make the kitchen a gourmet's delight. Unlike most in Avila, our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, accommodating 8 people. A 2-car garage and laundry center with washer and dryer add convenience. ??

The master suite features a queen bed, his and hers closets, and a connected bathroom with double sinks, tub, and shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, while the third room offers two twin beds. A sleeper couch in the living room provides additional sleeping space. ??

1.) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. We are located in the town of Avila and a short walk to the beach, restaurants, golfing. Once you arrive, the car is usually parked in the 2 car garage the whole time and enjoy walking to everything in Avila. Our house is located in a quiet area so there is plenty of privacy and quietness at night. No restaurant or bar noise late into the evening, just the peacefulness! ??

2. AVILA BEACH GEM EXPERIENCE. During your stay with us, our home becomes your home, and we want to ensure your experience is truly memorable. We do our best to provide impeccable service and amenities so you can focus your attention on family, friends, and fun while on your holiday! ??

3. SIZE MATTERS - Top quality family time can be hard to enjoy crowded around a small dinner table or a small hotel room. Weighing in at nearly 1700 sq. ft. (4-5 times the average size hotel room) Our house is capable of seating up to 8 at the dining room table. The bedrooms are large so you don't feel like you are in a closet. And don't forget the spacious living room area with a large couch and two other soft comfortable seating chairs! ??

4. CHILDREN FRIENDLY. We have children, so we understand the hassles of lugging high chairs, play pens, strollers whenever we travel. So we have eliminated that for you, and provided all these items right here in the house. There are also books, toys, movies and games to entertain the little ones when not on the beach! All new beach gear included: towels, sand toys, umbrella and chairs to take along to the beach. ??

5. PET FRIENDLY. One (1) dog maximum weight 45 pounds will be considered. There is a non-refundable pet fee. The pet fee is $75/per night, max $225.   Weekend getaway with 3 couples. Walkable to the beach. The place is cute, a bit dated, needs a mirror every bedroom. It seemed that no one had been there for a couple months as blankets and couch were dusty! I had an allergic reaction and began sneezing the minute I sat on the couch and also when I got in bed. Please refresh linens and blankets right before guests arrive. Windows did not all work to open, and screen on slider fell right off the track. Other than that we had a great time with lovely weather!

  The condo was very conveniently located. The beach equipment was very welcomed. The furnishings were spartan and that was fine with us other that the master bed. The mattress was dated and uncomfortable with the bed frame on wheels so the bed shifted through the night if you turned. Also it needed a headboard as it was positioned under a window with window blinds for a head rest.The condo seemed clean but as they ask you not to strip the beds??? Parking a 2023 SUV was challenging especially if the bay opposite the garage was occupied.

Convenient location just a handful of blocks from the beach and downtown Avila. Although good stay I thought it was a little pricey. The condo is tucked in, no ocean views.

  Perfect beach condo for a larger family. Great location close enough to walk to beach, but not right on the beach. Parking is tight in the garage area, but suitable for most cars. (much better than most beach communities) Ample street parking for larger vehicles. Unit is well appropriated with everything you need but food. Laundry conveniently located in entry/mudroom area. We would definitely stay here again on our next Central Coast visit!

  Perfect location for a visit to Avila Beach. We had 5 people in our group and we all fit comfortably in this home. It was very clean, had comfortable furniture (including the beds) and we would be willing to stay here again.
  The parking is a little tricky with this location. The home is at the bottom of a rather steep hill and the garage is a tight fit, especially for two cars. There are two parking spots adjacent to this garage that belong to the other home. If guests were parking there at the same time as your visit, it would make getting in and out of this garage VERY difficult. The home does have two floor fans to assist with air flow, but since they do not have air conditioning, the upstairs got extremely hot in the afternoon and evenings. If a few more fans were made available it would be helpful.

Avila Beach Gem is one of the few single family homes in Avila Beach. This home is a budget family beach experience nestled in the big oak trees. The Gem is a quick walk from the beach and downtown. Wanting big ocean views? I recommend Avila Beach Jewel for the ocean view experience.

  The location of the house could not have been better, maybe a block to Avila Beach, coffee shops and eateries. The house was very clean, tastefully done and was very comfortable for our family of 6 (and a dog!) We had a wonderful time - hiking, wine tasting, the beach, farmer's markets, we even used the charcoal grill for fresh fish one night. If I might suggest one thing the showerhead in the master bath needs re-tooling or cleaned out, not very much water coming from the showerhead. If you are planning on using the grill, you will have to purchase briquettes and lighter fluid (we left the briquettes there) Our stay and the house was awesome, so nice to escape to the beach with family if just for a few days! Would highly recommend this Avila Beach rental house:)

  But there was a charcoal bbq with no charcoal and propane with no propane bbq, so that was a bummer bc we brought food to bbq, and we never heard back from them about it, but oh well, we cooked the burgers on the stove instead. All good. Other than that we had a wonderful stay here and would stay again!

    There is a charcoal BBQ grill onsite. In the Welcome Info and Hospitality app under "What to Bring" we do mention to bring favorite seasonings, oils and charcoal. If we have extra in our inventory we are always happy to bring over. Charcoal can also be purchased at the Avila Grocery Store.

  We have small kids and when we researched kid-friendly beaches, all signs pointed to Avila.
  
  This Rental is very conveniently located, less than 5 min. walk to beach (depending on your pace). The property is very clean and well maintained. While it didn't get ultra hot the weekend we went, the ceiling helped circulate air, but wished there was A/C available. Perhaps a ductless unit (popular in Asia) in the main living kitchen area, would have been great.
  
  The rooms are spacious and bathrooms clean. The kitchen appliances work well. The washer-dyrer laundry units worked well, and very pleased that it is an amenity.
  
  There are some beach supplies and a stroller in the garage which were nice to have available in case of emergency or if we had equipment failure of our own (we did not).
  
  Again, this is a great stay for a couple of families with young kids.

  The only real complaint I have is the bedroom on the first-floor smell of smoke, and the sheets did not smell fresh. May be my noise is sensitive.

  We really liked this house and it's close proximity to the ocean. We didn't even have to drive and find parking which was very convenient. We loved the house, very comfortable. One thing that we did not like was the animal fur on the floor and some bed sheets. We have a 1 year old who crawls on the floor and fur was all over him. But we understand that's animals are permitted in this rental, so no complaints there.

  I was really happy with the build out and spaciousness. The weather turned on us, but it didn't matter we were so comfortable we just enjoyed the beauty of the dining and living room area and it never felt crowded. I was amazed at all the toys and beach supplies they have for families! While I appreciate them welcoming my dog, this was not a 'dog friendly' location. There is no outside space for the dog so even the best trained dog will still need to be taken out on a walk regularly, and there are a lot of stairs so older dogs will have some challenges. Otherwise it was gorgeous, easy, comfortable, clean and new, and fully stocked.

  We loved our time in Avila Beach! Wonderful vacation location and we are looking forward to returning. We were a little surprised by the parking and the garage at our rental. We could not fit the truck in the garage, even if we took off the tow hitch. The house was clean and very nice. It had a musty/ moldy smell and we could not figure out if it was from cleaning products or perhaps a leak under the kitchen sink. The bedrooms were very nice. We did not cook at rental as our other family members rented a place with a big deck and kitchen. The location was mice and we were within walking distance of the beach and coffee shop. Seven Sisters is wonderful to do business with. We highly recommend this company!
