A favorite among guests, our condo is located in the heart of Avila Beach and steps to warm white sands. This luxury studio condominium is custom designed for every comfort, showcases: a unique circular floor plan; ocean view from the private wrap-around deck; fully equipped gourmet kitchen; walk-in shower; washer/dryer; SmartTV and more!

Just steps from the sandy shore, the Courtyard at Avila, known for its award winning architecture with ocean and lovely hillside views, is also within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and adventure! The courtyard has a private gated entrance that leads you into a plaza of water features, sea art sculptures and access to the secured parking garage. This luxury condo includes 2 parking places in secured, gated garage and is located on the second floor, above the Avila Wine & Roasting Co. (San Miguel & 1st St).

There is an elevator from the parking garage to the courtyard area. This condo does not meet handicap accessibility requirements. Please reference the photos to determine suitability and ease of mobility.

  Small but a wonderful spot for a couple. Very close to the beach with a nice deck that gets the morning/afternoon sun. Kitchen is great for two people and the setting is comfortable. Only issue is the bed, which is comfy, is set against a wall, so one person has to climb out. Great response from the office. Especially Kathleen and Jerri.

  My husband and I rented this place for a kids-free vacay. It was perfectly located to shops/restaurants and of course the beach. The water pressure was weak at best but we were able to shower/wash dishes. Also parking was a bit difficult to figure out as you have to drive down an alley to find it, but it was super safe and secure. The windows need help opening all the way, but great air flow once they open all the way. FYI the restaurants and shops open and close when they feel like it, which is both charming and frustrating. The pizza place down the stairs is good, but Custom House is an upgraded Dennis. The beach is amazing! Not too crowded. We loved our stay in this charming condo and beach community.

  This is a cute studio, in a great location with a nice view. Everything was nice, the only complaints were the bed frame seemed broken, so if you sat on the side of the bed, or only one person climbed in, the whole bed tilted towards you. Also, the stairs going down to the courtyard were not lit at night, nor was the courtyard, so it was very dark. Other than those 2 things, this place is great, cozy and had great amenities.

  This is a very unique place with its round shape. Great location one block from the beach and therefore quiet. It was super clean, equipped with everything you can imagine in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The sun in the morning is great, and sitting on the deck in the afternoon sun is fun watching the street life. Every shop in town in in very short walking distance. We'd definitely rent it again.

  This adorable vacation rental offers amazing views from the hills to the ocean. The outside patio is simply an amazing way to slowly wake up in the morning to the sights and sounds of the area. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay; loved being just steps to everything Avila Beach has to offer. Having a night in? You can cook a nice meal in the kitchen or grab pizza 20 steps away, then grab a bottle of wine just downstairs. Such a wonderful place!

  The description of the unit was very accurate and was very clean. Very good space for a couple, one room but was comfortable and the kitchen was roomy and well supplied. Location is great with a good view of the ocean, parking was nice, undercover and easy access. Good communication and quick response to a couple of minor issues from the management. Avila is a very small town and was located quite close to Resturant’s and shops. Would recommend Blue Moon over Avila, a French resturant, and for a great electric bike rental, BoltAbout Bike rentals, behind the resturant on front street, excellent customer service!

  Had a wonderful stay in Avila Beach at this quaint little place a few short steps from the beach. Quiet, private and a perfect little spot for two people. We really enjoyed it. I wouldn't give it 5 starts however because I felt the security deposit of 750 for a 4 night stay was excessive. Our stay began on Sunday, September 15th but I had to pay the security deposit on September 4th and didn't get it back until October 1st, a full two weeks after we checked out. All in all, you they got to hold on to free money for almost a month. If you bring that to scale across all of VRBO then it's clear they are using this as a way to make money. I find that business practice excessive and gives me pause to ever use VRBO or short term rentals again especially this time of year when the busy season is over.

  My wife and I booked this room last minute and relied heavily on Terri for guidance. It turned out to be a wonderful place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location and view was much better than we expected. We especially liked the balcony with the view of the ocean.
  Being able to walk to many restaurants, wine bars, and especially the beach made it near perfect.
  
  Would definitely rent this unit again. It was clean and well maintained.
  The only minor negative was the bed which was situated against the wall and TV stand. The person sleeping on the inside had to climb out via the foot of the bed. Otherwise, the bed itself was very comfortable.

  We visited Avila Beach in April of 2017 while on a campus tour of Cal-Poly; we visited the wine bar below the property and knew we would return. When our son was accepted to Cal-Poly we new Avila Beach was where we would stay during move in weekend.
  
  We reserved our stay and could not have been more pleased with our amenities. What we most enjoyed was the view from the patio, the proximity to the beach and dining, the wine bar below, and shopping - well pretty much anything.
  
  The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed including the extra touch of complimentary breakfast bread and coffee. This is a definite stay for couples even though you can sleep four.

The property description is accurate and describes and shows what you get. The condo is relatively new, clean and nice. We have family and friends in the area and find that fall offers a great off-season vacation feel. San Luis Obispo and the many surrounding communities offer endless and varied restaurant options. We plan many future stays and would definitely recommend it to others.

  We had a great time visiting our son in San Luis Obispo. The studio was wonderful. We saw whales the first morning off the deck. We will definitely return.

  The only problem was the freezer had been turned down and someone had left a bag of ice in the freezer. Part of the ice had melted so we had to clean up the freezer and floor. Took about an hour to do upon arrival. The refrigerator had been turned down so it was a good thing we had not brought any food yet that needed refrigeration.

    Oh my. You should have called our Guest Services Team and we would had taken care of the melted ice ASAP. Sometimes if the freezer is not completely closed this will happen. Glad you enjoyed the condo otherwise.

  The location was absolutely perfect and the private parking made it even more desirable. The wine bar below was no distraction at all and we never heard a peep from the people there. In fact, if you buy a glass of wine, he'll even let you take the glass with you and just asks you to bring it back the next day. The bed was very comfortable as were the chairs and the couch. The bathroom is a nice size for two people and the kitchen is well stocked. I though the place looked better than what I saw in the pictures. The stairs leading up to the rental are not steep and have a nice handrail. I have never stayed with a place where you check in/out on your smart phone or tablet and have to say that was really cool. We never saw anyone from management and never needed them either. Bring your own beach towels if you plan on the beach as they don't want you taking their towels. Or buy some at one of the local shops. We decided the Hula Hut had the best coffee and was across the street. The Krava Bowl is also an interesting place, sort of like a smoothie bar and it too is across the street. There were a few festivals going while we were there but it had no impact on our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

  My two children and I stayed in the studio for four nights. The space was in great condition and very close to the beach. We followed the detailed directions provided. It was really efficient, we never even spoke to the property manager. We will stay there again!

  We make our annual trip to Avila Beach over Memorial Day weekend, and have often admired this location for its proximity to the promenade/waterfront and winery tasting rooms. It is a beautiful condo, with modern amenities and all the things you'd need for an extended stay. We traveled as two couples, and our friends felt that the pull-out couch was so comfortable that they wrote down the manufacturer/model so they could purchase one! It is quite "cozy", so if you're staying here with friends, be sure you really like them ;). It is the perfect place for a couple on a romantic get away off peak season when the rates are lower. Otherwise, find some friends you really like, share the cost and get comfy!

  Quick last minute trip with the family (3 of us). This place is in the perfect location, great view, and nice biking trails nearby. Downstairs wine bar offered a little extra treat and aided in our evening wine tastings on our deck looking out to the water. We'll be back for sure.
